Dr.Jur. Jochen Lösch is a household name in the international sports and media business. A trained lawyer with a Doctorate in Law, Jochen has led corporations in the sports (especially football) and media industry in Germany, Brazil and the United Kingdom for more than 20 years.
A German and Brazilian citizen, Jochen served as the global CEO of MP&Silva in London, the President of TRAFFIC Sports in São Paulo, the Managing Director of SPORTFIVE (later Lagardère Sports) in Rio de Janeiro, as well as SPORTFIVE's Vice President Media Rights and Head of Legal Affairs in Hamburg.
Having lived in 7 countries and speaking 5 languages, Jochen is as international as it gets. He has a deep understanding of the sports and media industry and its ever-developing driving forces. He applies this knowledge within a global network of industry leaders, built and cultivated over decades.
Jochen has privileged and unsurpassed access to decision makers in Latin America and especially Brazil, where he spearheaded leading sports marketing firms for over 14 years. He is widely known as someone who gets things done.
Before entering the sports and media industry, Jochen worked as an M&A lawyer for the renowned international law firm CMS. He has a strong background in Finance and M&A, and holds a certificate in Managerial Finance from London School of Economics and Science (LSE).
Until recently, Jochen has been a non-executive board member of British Fencing, the national governing body of Olympic Fencing in the UK. He also was a non-executive member of the advisory board of HYPE Sports Innovation, the world's leading sports-tech accelerator.
